Basic Session

The first training session will serve as a general introduction to the event industry, bringing together those who wish to become event decorators and those aspiring to become event planners. This session will cover:

1. Introduction to the Event Industry: An overview of various aspects of the industry, including the roles and responsibilities of event decorators and planners.
2. Fundamental Principles: Teaching the basic principles common to both disciplines, such as project management, communication, and collaboration with clients and vendors.
3. Development of Essential Skills: Acquiring basic skills in planning, organization, and creativity, which are crucial for both fields.
4. Career Exploration: Discussions on different career paths in event planning, helping participants better understand their interests and position themselves for specialization.

Date: October 1st to December 18th, 2024
Time: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Following the introductory session, the second session will focus on participants specializing in their respective areas of interest. The groups will be divided into two:

1. Event Decorators Group:
   • Deepening of decoration techniques, visual design, and current trends.
   • Case studies and practical projects to develop a decoration portfolio.
2. Event Planners Group:
   • Focus on strategic planning, logistical management, and event coordination skills.
   • Learning the legal and contractual aspects of event planning.

This approach allows participants to start with a solid common foundation before specializing, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the event industry.

Cost: The training cost is $5000 + taxes ($5748.75), payable in installments, for the two sessions, until August 30, 2024. After this date, the training will cost $7000 + taxes ($8048.25) for the two sessions.
